- Expect to have homework every day. Complete it and pass it in on time.
- Come prepared to class. Coming prepared means having:

- Your text book/novel
- Your 3-ring binder
- Your completed homework
- Always show respect.
- ...to me, to yourself and to your classmates.
- Speak politely and kindly to others.
- Raise your hand.
- No talking over others.
- Use 12-inch voices during group work.
- When an administrator comes on the loudspeaker, stop talking and listen.
- Leave the classroom the way you found it.
- Push in your chair.
- Pick up after yourself – put trash and recycling where they go. Don’t put trash in my desks.
- Don’t chew gum.
- Use your agenda books.
- If there is a substitute, show them the same respect you show me.
- If you are absent see me for the work you missed.
- It is your responsibility to get the assignments you missed and to make them up within an agreed upon time frame.
- Put your name, your division and the date on all of your assignments.
- Assignments without proper identification will be placed in the recycling bin.
